Auto Mechanic – Full Time Up to 69k (Seymour, VIC)
About our client
Our client has an opening for an Auto Service Mechanic for their Seymour Automotive Centre in Regional Victoria. As a well- respected and high-quality Auto Service Centre they pride themselves on understanding a customer’s need for and importance of, taking their vehicle to a centre who can be trusted and deliver quality work. The service centre provides a complete service of the highest quality from a team of mechanics with great experience and expertise in servicing vehicles.
There is now an opening for a full-time Auto Mechanic to join the team in Seymour as their business is continuing to grow. Therefore, final year Motor Mechanic apprentices are encouraged to apply. If you are in your final year, then this great opportunity is open, to join the service team as ongoing training is also available. You will get to work in a well-equipped workshop offering:
• Vehicle Servicing & Repairs
• 24-hour towing
• Tyres
• Roadworthy
• Batteries
• Pre-purchase inspections
• Air-conditioning
• On site wheel alignment
• Child restraint fitting
About the role
This role will allow you to utilise your auto service skills experience to provide service, maintenance, and repairs to a wide range of motor vehicles. Excellent training, conditions and a supportive, friendly team are part of the attractive offer available here.
Responsibilities include:
• First rate servicing and repairs to a wide range of vehicles
• Provide guidance and support to customer facing staff, and customers
• Provision of expertly prepared RWC to business and private customers
Great salary up to $69,000 p.a. dependent on qualifications and experience along with excellent working conditions and facilities will be offered to the successful candidate. Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.

Key Experience & Skills
You should be able to demonstrate the following:
Demonstrated passion about the automotive service industry
Ability to work independently
Solid industry reputation and skills working with a wide range of local and global automotive brands
Highly relevant trade qualifications (minimum Certificate IV or equivalent – may be in final year)
Solid references
A can-do attitude and team spirit
Great time management skills
Excellent customer facing skills, patience, and empathy
