Job Description
Trainee NDIS Support Coordinator roles don't come along very often and its even rarer to get the chance to be trained on-the-job by some of the industry leaders in this field. This trainee role will take the successful candidate through their first steps over a 6 to 12 month period towards a new and rewarding career as a NDIS Support Coordinator.
Our Clients ensure that being a NDIS Support Coordinator ensures that no two days are the same as you navigate through supporting our Clients to get the most out of their NDIS Plans.
NDIS Support Coordinators are people people and use a range of tools to access information. However, you will find utilising your life experiences and good old common sense are equally important in delivering practical support solutions to our Clients.
Key Experience & Skills
Highly proficient written and spoken english, grammer and spelling
Excellent customer service and active listening skills
Natural preference towards attention to detail and problem solving
Comfortable to manage a range of unexpected quesitons and requests using own life experiences to resolve
Good understanding of the NDIS and NDIS Plans
Experince of compilling, summarising and presenting large volumes of technically complex documentation in easy to read formats
Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
Professional or lived experience of disability especially welcome
