Job Description
Delivering client centric mammography care to women as part of a professional team or working alone, as required.
Be responsible for the efficient operation of a mobile mammography screening service that includes the attainment of high standards of mammography quality and client support, as well as care and maintenance of on board equipment.
This role will be required to provide support to other services, either remote or at specifically nominated sites and reports to the Designated Radiographer for the Mobile Screening service.
Key Experience & Skills
Tertiary qualifications as required by the Professional Accreditation and Eduction Board of the Australian Society of Medical Imagining and Radiation Therapy (ASMIRT)
Registration with Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia to practice in the state of VIC
Certificate of Clinical Proficiency in Mammography (CCPM) - or willing to obtain
Current Department of Health issued Radiation User License
Experienced in working in Mammography (hologic platform experience desirable)
Commitment to own ongoing professional development
Drivers licence and access to own reliable transport
Excellent organisational, time mangement and record keeping skills
Self motivator and natural problem solver
Able to work both autonomously and in a team environment
High level of interpersonal and customer service skills
